Animal Nurture was created to provide essential services for your beloved pets in the comfort of their home.
Working at various veterinary practices over years has shown us how little time we actually get in the consult room with our patients. With our new dedicated home services we can make time to properly meet your pet, build trust with the more shy animals and provide less stressful, essential care for them, as well as acupuncture services tailored to their needs.
We believe that every pet, small or big, deserves to be comfortable and free of pain. Acupuncture treatment has shown tremendous results in a variety of species treated by us throughout the years, such as dogs, cats, rabbits, guinea pigs, tortoises and even a coati.
In addition, simple procedures such as beak and nail trims can be done in the comfort of your home, without the additional stress of travelling and your pet spending time in the Vet Surgery.
As experienced exotic veterinary professionals, who keep our own birds and reptiles, we offer husbandry reviews for new pets or to confirm that the set-up is appropriate for your pet. Correct species-specific diet, housing, lighting, humidity and environment are vital for the health of your pet and we offer professional consultations to make sure that your pets have the right conditions in which they will thrive; we have found that veterinary consultations don’t have enough time to have these vital conversations. There have been many occasions when getting the right set-up has made a huge difference to the health and wellbeing of pets and has at times made the difference between life and death. We know that appropriate husbandry is essential for your pet to live a healthy and happy life and it is our goal to help you to achieve that.
