Veterinary Surgeon
I was inspired to become a veterinarian to provide better treatment for exotic animals after having my own for years and seeing the knowledge gap present in veterinary practice. Work experience solidified my love of veterinary medicine, and my motivation to dedicate my working life to helping all animals, whether they are a tiny gecko or a Great Dane. I am very passionate about both small and exotic animal medicine, including effective multimodal pain management for all species, as well as advocating for inclusion and mental health and wellbeing in the veterinary profession.
At home I have a miniature poodle called Corrie and two rescue chickens called Leia and Rey. Outside of work I love music, films and spending time with my friends and family.

I am passionate about helping animals, big and small, but I have a special interest in the less understood, more exotic species. I believe that there is continuous possibility for improvement and I try to provide the best life I can for all my scaly, fluffy and feathery children.
I strongly believe in alternative treatment when it comes to pain management such as physiotherapy, acupuncture and laser therapy. I advocate for a combined, comprehensive approach to medicine in order to maximize comfort and minimize recovery time in injured or geriatric animals.
At home I have two amazing moggy cats, four rescued tortoises, a bunch of Neon Day Geckos, a rescued Giant Day Gecko, a Jacksons chameleon, a rescued Hognose snake and a house sparrow that I’ve raised who now comes to visit me in-between her busy outdoor birdie life. I also keep a variety of Isopods.
